I pity da foo’ that calls her a secretary.

She’s not the admin assistant either.

She’s the Ministry Coordinator.  Titles matter (at least in this instance it does).  Teri coordinates ministry.  We can do all sorts of ministry stuff, and if it’s not coordinated, it can be haphazard and frantic.  She’s the conductor, the mix-master, the one who just makes everything work.

Now, don’t get me wrong, she does more than make sure our bases are covered.  She leads and trains and counsels and encourages.  She manages, and plans and supervises and brainstorms.

And (this may be my favorite part): she’s NEVER afraid to get involved and get her hands dirty.  I’ve NEVER seen her back down from a challenge.

Oh, one more thing: She’s been known to “drop the prophetic hammer,” so to speak.  That is to say, you can just be sitting around chatting, and she’ll be smiling and affirming (as she always is)…and then, without warning or build-up, she’ll say something directly from God that just might upend your whole worldview.
